Today, we left work early for an appointment and got the chance to visit our site in the DAYLIGHT during the week day. So finally the rain stopped and the bricks has started. Very happy with the bricks we chose. It turns out very well. We originally upgraded the mortar joints to white so you don't see the dark lines between the bricks then we took it off as we were planning to render the rear and the sides after handover. Now that the bricks are up it actually doesn't look that bad with the natural mortar joints and don't think we even need to render the rear and the sides!
They also delivered the remaining internal doors and skirting, getting ready to be installed.
We noticed the subcontractor did an error at frame stage for the bottom of the plaster niche at Dining room where the wood run across which was supposed to be cut off. We called the supervisor and he advised it will check it out.
